Explore the City & Norway At Your Pace
Viking Biking offers bike rentals year-round. Even in the winter, it is safe to explore the city by bike thanks to our winter studded tires with 240 metal studs per tire. From November through to April e-bikes are not available for rent, and the minimum age for bike rental is 13.
Please note:
- Requests should be sent at least 48 hours in advance. For last-minute requests, customers should call us.
- All customers must have a secure indoor location to keep the bikes over-night.

The prices for bike rental are season-dependent.
16 March-31 October:
- Standard city bike for ages 12+: 350 NOK for the day (09:30-18:00) or 450 NOK for 24 hours
- Child bike or stroller for ages 1-11: 200 NOK for the day or 300 NOK for 24 hours
- Electric bike ages 16+: 550 NOK for the day (09:30-18:00) or 800 NOK for 24 hours. (Please note: these are for city use only)
- Gravel/Touring bikes for ages 12+: 500 NOK for the day or 650 NOK for 24 hours
01 November – 15 March
- Winter bikes with studded tires for ages 12+: 450 NOK for the day (09:30-15:30) or 550 NOK for 24 hours
- Pump, repair kit and flat tire spray: 50 NOK
- Bike bag: 50 NOK
- Paper maps: 75 NOK
- Rain poncho: 50 NOK

We rented bikes for a day and wished we had them a few more. The bikes were in great condition and we booked to Bydøga, a beautiful trip. They were helpful and got us (family of 8 4-17 yr kids) set up quickly. Definitely recommend renting bikes to explore Oslo!
