I thoroughly enjoyed the bike tour of Oslo. The city is quiet and is very safe for cycling. Bikes make it a very fast and easy way to get between the sights.
Discover a Winter Wonderland
Oslo’s Only Winter Bike Tour
For the Adventurous
Cycle on Snow & Ice on this Unforgettable Winter Experience
Oslo winter tours have a special kind of magic and require a touch of Viking courage from the guests! Cycling with studded tires (like ours) is safer than walking as you have more grip. You’ll visit Oslo’s main sights with a guide who will share information about Norway’s culture, politics, and everyday life. We mix nature with architecture and history and, in the right season, we can even visit the famous Christmas markets. If you want to go beyond the guidebook, this is the tour for you!

The Day’s Activities
Depending on the weather we have a range of activities to choose from. We’ll discover Norway’s spectacular architecture, both modern and 19th-century, as we ride past areas like the harbourfront, Karl Johans Gate, and the port area of Aker Brygge and Tjuvholmen.
Depending on the time of year, we may visit Oslo’s Christmas market, Jul i Vinterland, where we’ll sample cured meats, traditional shortbread, and Gløgg (mulled wine). We’ll also take you into the real Oslo and explore neighbourhoods like Grünerløkka. This Oslo bike tour is all about getting to know more about Norwegian society and your guide will give you insight that no guidebook can.
We’ll explore the natural side of this green city as we pedal up the car-free Akerselva River path to visit waterfalls that are spectacular in winter. For foodies, we can stop by one of the many indoor food markets – we can enjoy fresh seafood and a whole array of tasty street food in beautiful settings.
Hear What Our Previous Guests Thought ...
We had an amazing and beautiful trip! The guide (Susan) was really upbeat and edited the tour Accor to the things we wanted to see and what we have already seen.
It was such fantastic fun and really added to our experience of Oslo. The bike were equipped with winter tyres that kept us from slipping around, our tour guide, Josh, was very lively, friendly and fun. The experience was awesome and despite it being advertised for ‘experienced’ cyclists, was very easy to follow.
We covered a lot and learned a lot from George. If not for his explanation and guidance, we wouldn’t have so much fun and info. He kept it flexible too. Learning what we would be interested in first then planning the route for us.
What an amazing experience. I did the winter tour with 4 friends and this totally changed our perspectives on Oslo. Very knowledgeable and friendly guide which adapted the tour to our interests. When visiting Oslo this is a must!
